Shhh...do you hear that?? Yea..that's the sound of peace and quiet! :) Jack is at Nana's on this lovely Friday evening. I could not be more excited about a peaceful night's rest and sleeping in! :)
I am also finally blogging after way, WAY too long! Jack is all better and we have made it through yet another week. I am working my hiney off during the week trying to get all papers graded and lessons planned for the following week so that I can come home on Fridays and leave the school worries behind. So far my plan is working and I don't dread Sunday nights as much! :)
The only major plans slated for this weekend are taking Mom out for a belated birthday dinner at Regas - mmmm! And then Sunday morning we are going to get family pictures taken. I picked Sunday morning thinking all normal, God-fearing folk will be at church here in E. Tennessee. Maybe we can expect more peace and quiet in the studio than there would be on a Saturday morning.
Speaking of church, I am seriously considering a church switch. Jason just recently joined NPPC and I could not ask for a better pastor there. I don't know if I'm just picky, but she is one of the few pasters whose sermons have ever really moved me.
So the search is on considering that the thirty minute drive is really hampering our regularity at church. Ha - I say regularity like we've been recently - try ....like...April. We will continue looking, but I have an awful feeling that Advent will roll around and I will be yearning for the candles in hurricanes, stained glass, and arched cathedral ceilings of New Prov....we'll see.
If anybody has any church suggestions, just let me know. I am looking for a fairly liberal congregation and pastor, with a good children's program, close to Fountain City. Hopefully these requests are not asking too much! :) Love to all and have a wonderful weekend!!
